How MEMS Works
- CSA's Managed E-Mail security service is designed to minimise or completely eliminate all of these costs.
- It acts as a filter between the "internet" and the customer's network.
- It removes SPAM and security threats from E-Mail before passing it on to the customer's E-Mail server.
- E-Mail passes through a number of filters and checks prior to being marked as SPAM or legitimate E-Mail.
- All legitimate E-Mail is forwarded on to the E-Mail server with negligible delay.
- All SPAM Mail is held within the system's quarantine area for a designated period. This ensures that any falsely identified SPAM can be recovered without delay.
- In addition to this, all E-Mail that is passed as legitimate is scanned for Viruses and malicious code, creating a complete security check on all Mail traffic
- MEMS has the ability to allow customers to log on to their quarantined email if they think an expected email has been caught accidentally, this allows them to release it rather than incurring the cost of having us chase it down for them.
